unfortunately no change with switching off the evt logs.
I have found an error though in clientdata.log:
clientdata.log:2015-03-19 16:16:51 No client backend for OS 'powershell'
sent by (ip address of host)
so will look into it from this angle.

no - nothing. I had actually tested this out by removing the host from
bb-hosts and then it did appear in the ghost client list.
