Stef;
I am getting like following output in the logfile, but there is nothing in
data/rrd/<servername> says iostat* ( on the server side )
So, I am guessing that data is not being collected by the server.
[iostat-part.sdb1.rrd]
DS:tps:GAUGE:600:0:U 259
DS:Kb_read:DERIVE:600:0:U 84251
DS:Kb_wrtn:DERIVE:600:0:U 11450444
DS:blk_read:DERIVE:600:0:U 168503
DS:blk_wrtn:DERIVE:600:0:U 22900888
[iostat-disk.sdd.rrd]
DS:tps:GAUGE:600:0:U 908
DS:Kb_read:DERIVE:600:0:U 770182177
DS:Kb_wrtn:DERIVE:600:0:U 1033541768
DS:blk_read:DERIVE:600:0:U 1540364354
DS:blk_wrtn:DERIVE:600:0:U 2067083536
Your help is greatly apprecited.

Thank you stef, I already applied the patch you sent earlier, there is
log
file client/logs/linux-iostat.log, but it is empty file so I dont know
what
happened, is there any other place I can look for what is sent? I
replaced
n with y on debug mode in the script.
If you do so, there should be some output in the logfile. You can also
execute the script on the command line and see what output it generates.
This is the output executed on my laptop:
"data .trends
[iostat-disk.sda2.rrd]
DS:tps:GAUGE:600:0:U 538
DS:Kb_read:COUNTER:600:0:U 1704758
DS:Kb_wrtn:COUNTER:600:0:U 9953080538
DS:blk_read:COUNTER:600:0:U 3409517
DS:blk_wrtn:COUNTER:600:0:U 19906160
