Well, at present it is written in the POSIX shell on hpux, but I have
lots of stuff running on Linux that started on hpux, so if your question
is will it run on Linux, I would say, probably. If you are asking if it
will run on T64, I would say I have no idea and I won't be porting it
there either so if it doesn't I can't imagine it will unless you want to
port it there. As for the data coming back from a T64 server, I have
not a clue. I guess given the commands on the T64 system, it wouldn't
be that big a deal to feed it into Hobbit.

As for the beta, let me finish out the week working on it and I think
early next week it will be at a state where it might be of some use to
you.
Tim

Well, I guess that would be me.

I started to port BB-Central, but with my limited knowledge of BB and
Perl, I decided that writing Hobbit-Central was a better and faster
solution.

I am scripting it to begin with and will probably finalize it in C. I
currently have HC querying the local HP-UX Hobbit server, 3 remote
HP-UX
hosts and 2 remote Linux hosts.
Ok, how O/S dependent is it? I can certainly run openssh with DSA keys
on all of the boxes, but will Tru-64 give it fits? If so, is it easy to
change the template for a particular O/S?

Can I get a hold of a beta to play with? Yes, I know it will change,
but multiple eyes are useful...
