Hi,

just did a build on a fresh Debian 9.5 installation. All I had to install was:

sudo apt install build-essential libc-ares-dev librrd-dev libssl-dev libldap2-dev libpcre3-dev

But - why don't you use the very nice Xymon 4.3.28 package available in the Debian repository? It works perfectly fine.

Regards,
Henrik

I did install that one and it was still complaining that librrd2-dev was a
dependency that way missing.

Thank you,

Trying to install Xymon on Debian 9 and it is failing do to missing
package librrd2-dev.  This package is not available in the apt
repository.  The instructions that are available talk about installing
on Debian 6 Squeeze.  Are there update instructions anywhere?
Try librrd-dev
